I haven’t had any particular interest in the America’s Cup, but Jack invited us to watch the races from the water on Saturday, and who are we to decline a chance to go sailing?
Such a pretty sky, Ed decided to Swiffer the outside of the windows for a better view.
Ed and I are engaged! I was blithely oblivious that our apparently casual and spontaneous sunset cruise around the bay was, in fact, a semi-elaborate plan culminating in a proposal, right up until the moment when he got down on one knee at the bow of the yacht.
Treasure Island was one million days ago but I have been busy working, oddly enough, almost like a productive member of society or something. We only went on Sunday but Ed bought VIP tickets so I actually got to see the stage for once, which was pretty sweet. He was really excited to see Divine Fits, and they put on a great show against a beautiful backdrop of the sunset over the bay. I was really excited for Best Coast, as always. We also enjoyed Gossip and M83, but Joanna Newsom was too quiet to hear over the crowd, and Ty Segall was too loud for my old-lady ears. And we left after the first few songs from The XX because they were kind of boring and Ed doesn’t like their latest album.
I am obsessed with Eat Curbside’s “strawbrie” grilled cheese. Ed says his fried egg sliders were also quite delicious.
Took a walk around Alta Plaza Park after being denied roof access during a friend’s dinner party. Priorities!
Soaking up the sun on a roof in the Mission, smoking some SoFlo OG and watching two handsome men build me a table.
